Hangers are typically seen as a necessary evil. Acquiring hangers is something on your to-do list and not considered enjoyable. However, the types of hangers you use in your closet can increase or minimize space. Using velvet hangers will increse so much room in your closet and they're not super expensive. Also, keep your hangers the same color. It's pretty easy to become distracted by mismatched hangers.

Organize with a Purpose! 

After you've switched hangers, organize your clothes by color then sleeve length. We have all been there - digging through blouses to find immaculate floral dress. Dividing up your closet from light to dark is easy, but have fun with it! Don’t forget you’re the one who has to look at it every day.

Take advantage of extra storage for the lower half of the closet. Store accessories or folded clothing in the cubbies and keep shoes underneath. If there is still space, the top of the organizer you should definitely use. There is no unusable space in a closet - only unused potential.

If space allows in the bedroom, a rolling rack is the perfect plus-one to any wardrobe. Create a plan for your outfits either daily or weekly, use your most coveted pieces as adornment, or just use the said rolling rack as additional storage space.
